Rannoch
The Story, Tasting Notes, & Technical Analysis
Inspired by the imposing backdrop and a serene island reminiscent of Rannoch Loch in the Scottish Highlands, the owners planted their first vines in 1999. The terroir, characterised by the rich, deep clay soils of the south-facing slopes within the Helderberg basin, is renowned for its ideal conditions for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon. With mature vines, meticulous care, and a focus on low production volume, this vineyard consistently produces exceptional fruit, resulting in a wine of remarkable distinction.
